-Where will the Salem Summer Symposium be held?

Because of health and safety concerns for our attendees and presenters, this Salem Witchcraft and Folklore Festival will take place entirely online this year. Our hope is the 2021 Festival will be held in the downtown area of historic Salem, Massachusetts. Events will be hosted at various venues from Essex Street to Pickering Wharf.

 

-When will the Festival be held?

 

The Festival will be held annually in August, classes for the 2020 Festival will take place Friday August 14th - Sunday August 16th.

 

-What kind of events will be included in the Festival?

 

The Salem Witchcraft and Folklore Festival has postponed all special events for 2020. We are looking to bring back all of our in-person social events and gatherings for 2021.

-Does the Festival do any charitable giving?

The Salem Witchcraft and Folklore Festival will be donating a portion of its profits to The Witchcraft and Human Rights Network an organization which works throughout the world to educate and combat against human rights violations occurring as a result of witchcraft accusations.

 

-Is the Festival an all ages event?

 

The Salem Witchcraft and Folklore Festival intended for people 18 years and older. Attendees 16 years and older are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

-How long are the class/workshop sessions?

 

Classes and workshops will be between 60-120 minutes.

 

-How much time can I expect between classes

 

In most instances there will be at least 30 minutes between classes and workshops.
